Cheryl Renee Baker, age 55, entered peacefully into eternal rest at her residence on Sunday, December 31, 2017. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Cheryl was a graduate of O. Perry Walker High School and Moler Beauty College. Loving wife of Donovan F. Baker. Devoted mother of Alexis K. Hinton, Christopher D. Baker, and Sky K. Baker. Beloved daughter of Richard A. K. Hinton, Sr. and the late Jennie M. Hinton. Grandaughter of the late Mary Casimier. Sister of Richard A. K. Hinton, Jr., and Vandolph Hinton. Daughter-in-law of Beryl Matthews. Sister-in-law of Doris Hinton. Niece of the late Elton Casimier and Daniel Scott. Aunt of the late Nicolas Allender, Rodrin Hinton, Jonee Dilosa and Justin Victor; also survived by 1 grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt Sinai Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00p.m.
