Jonnie Marie Wells

Jonnie Marie Wells departed her earthly tabernacle and entered her heavenly home on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the age of 46. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Jonnie was a former employee of Campo Appliances, United States Postal Service, and Jefferson Council on Aging.   Loving and devoted mother of John Jackson, Jr. Beloved daughter of the late John and Ruby Wells. Sister of Carol (Kenneth) Blazio, Earna, Jacqueline and Malika Wells, and the late Kie (Aletha) and John Henry Wells, Jr. (Trina); also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Jonnie will always be remembered for her kind giving spirit. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Old Fashion Baptist Church, St. Rock Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of United States Postal Service, Jefferson Parish Council on Aging, and former employees of Campo Appliances are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Gilbert Barnes, officiating

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
