Gregory Joseph Collins, age 55, departed this life on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Gregory was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and employed as a deckhand. Loving husband of Letrionne Jones Collins. Devoted father of Gregory George, April Joseph, and Delisa Johnson. Stepfather of Ashley Jones (Antwine) Jefferson, Raven and Zireia Jones. Son of Hazel Collins and the late Lester Collins. Brother of Jude and Daren Collins; also survived by 6 grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time.
