Shirley Ann Carmouche Batiste was delivered from her temporary life and guided to eternal life on Monday, January 15, 2018 at Canon Hospice.  Wife of the late Louis Batiste, Sr. Mother of Pamela (Herbert) Rose of Houston, TX, Phylilis Batiste, Sheree (Yule) Quinsey of Atlanta, GA, Stephanie Williams of Los Angeles, CA, Melissa Batiste of Houston, TX, Louis Batiste, Jr., and the late Sabrina McDonald, and Johnathan Batiste. Grandmother of the late Willis  Batiste and Quintell Rose. Daughter of the late Clarence and Edna Carmouche. Sister of Elfreda,  Margie, Ronald, Harry, Harvey, Jessie, and Brent Carmouche, Patricia Johns, Ruth Leonard, and the late Priscilla James  , Cathy Batiste, Judy, Clarence, and Terry Carmouche, also survived by 34 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age:78 years  a native of Mansura, La. An d a resident of Avondale, La.  Relatives and friends of the family and employees of West Jefferson Dietary are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. at the parlor.
