Flora Garrison

Flora “Amazing Grace” Garrison entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 81.  She was native of Orville, AL and a resident of Marrero, LA.  She was a graduate of Keith High School of Orville, AL.  Loving mother of Craig (Darleen) Garrison, Wilfred D. Garrison, and Kim Garrison.  Daughter of the late Sidney Hayes I and Viola Hayes.  Granddaughter of the late Elijah and Mary Watts. Sister of Sidney Hayes II, Robert Hayes, Elijah Hayes, Willie James Hayes, Ruth Martin, Elder Sadie Mason, Roberta Moore, and the late Rosetta Manuel. Former wife of the late John Garrison; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 6223 6th Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Edward Joseph, III, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.  Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA  Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service  230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com.
