L'Oreal Brook Mason

L’Oréal “Lori” Brook Mason entered into her heavenly home at Children’s Hospital on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 9.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.  Lori, as she was affectionately known by family and friends was a 4th grade student at McDonough #32 School, where she was a stellar student.  Loving daughter of Saundra B. Mason and Anthony Johnson.  Stepdaughter of Albert Williams. Stepsister of Shane Dalcour, Shaun Williams, and Ty’Jae Sanford.  Granddaughter of Leah and Thomas Chavis and the late Carol M. Boatner, and Willie J. Mason. Step-granddaughter of Andrew Boatner.  Great granddaughter of Joyce F. Davis and the late Jesse Davis, Rev. Daniel Mason, Sr., and Catherine C. Mason.  Niece of Wendy (Vashon) Mason, Amber (Dejon) Merricks, Shaun A. Davis, Adam J. Hyams, Kevin Houston, and Kendra A. Chavis.  Loving goddaughter of Calvin and Trena Parker, Dana Lindsey Delisa Tayor-Hoskins, Tonisha Goodwin, and Janquishia Isom; also survived by 2 great aunts, 2 god brothers, 1 god sister and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Household of Faith Family Worship Center and all neighboring churches; faculty, staff and students of McDonough #32 School and Lapalco Head Start; employees of Steamboat Natchez and Churchill Downs Fairgrounds Racetrack are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at Household of Faith Family Worship Center, 2074 Paxton St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00a.m.
