Doris Carey Williams

October 27, 1950 — February 5, 2018

Doris Carey Williams entered into eternal rest at her residence on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the age of 67.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Doris was a graduate of Lincoln High School.  Loving wife of Edward Williams.  Devoted mother of Trenice Chopin, Melvina Burns, and Lisa McGill.  Stepmother of Joann Bell, Edward Bell, and Lionel Bell.  Daughter of the late Henry Carey and Melvina Carey; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:00a.m. 

Pastor Gilbert Barnes, officiating 

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. 

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA
