Gail Marie Brown

Gail Ferrier Brown entered into eternal rest at her residence on Monday, February 5, 2018 at the age of 66. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Gail retired from the Office of Family Support as a Social Services Analyst. Loving wife of 48 years to Gregory Brown, Sr. Devoted mother of Michelle Brown McCoy, Gregory, Jr. (Toya) Brown, and Candace Brown. Daughter of the late George , Sr. and Shirley Ferrier. Granddaughter of the late Louis and Clementine Sylva, Godfrey and Alma Ferrier. Sister of Gwendolyn (Toxie) Turner, Crystal Jones, Karen (Johnathon) Bolar, Carol Newton and the late George Ferrier, Jr. Sister in law of Larry Brown, Bishop James Nelson (Ellanese) Brown, Patsy Levillier, and Norris (Sherri) Byas, also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00a.m.
