Fred Banks, Jr

Fred “Toby” Banks, Jr., age 61, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 9, 2018.  He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Fred was a graduate of L. B. Landry High School.  He was a retired Maintenance Worker of Metropolitan Developmental Center.  Loving father of Tifany (Terdell) Banks Washington, Latoya Farrar, Latasha Sullen, and Fred (Alaina) Banks, III.  Son of the late Fred Banks, Sr. and Della Berry Ross.  Grandson of the late Lucille and Rousell Berry, Sr. Brother of Gail (Haywood) Ross Johnson and Melisa (Tyrone) Jack Blackshire; also survived by 4 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mount Olive Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 1124 Leboeuf St., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Haywood Johnson, Jr., officiating  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
