Lovie Youngblood

Lovie Lee Youngblood entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at her residence at the age of 89. She was a native of Tylertown, MS and a resident of Waggaman, LA. Lovie was a domestic caregiver, mother, grandmother, and prayer warrior.

Beloved mother of Beverly Gabriel Pierre and the late Douglas Earl Youngblood. Devoted grandmother of Latisha Hamilton, Shawn George, Sterling Gabriel, Tonya Youngblood, and Jennell Melancon. Daughter of the late Silas and Thaney Young. Preceded in death by 7 sisters, 3 brothers, also survived by 15 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Baptist Church #3 and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Zion Baptist Church #3 441 Wilson St. Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Mt. Olivet   Cemetery-New Orleans, LA.
