Lucien Joshua, Sr., a retired maintenance and sanitary worker peacefully entered eternal rest on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the age of 90. He was a native of Lemannvile, LA and a longtime resident of New Orleans, LA. Beloved husband of the late Annie Mae Lewis-Joshua. Father of Lucinda Joshua, Lucien (Iris) Joshua, Jr., Frank T. Joshua , Sr., Lois (Kedrick) Hogans, Lorne (Cherald) Joshua, Lorna (Antonio) Fleming, and the late Mary Ann Kennedy Coleman. Son of the late Delphine and Smith Joshua. Brother of the late Rosa Lee Joshua, Hazel Ross, Edgar Joshua, Eddie Joshua, Clinton Joshua, Sr., Clarence Joshua, Sr., and Clifford Joshua , Sr. Brother in law of Brenda (Wallace) Brumfield, and Delores (Carl) Goins, also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Riverbend Nursing and Rehab Center are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church 1742 L B Landry Ave. Algiers, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
