Theodora Royal McKey

Theodora Royal McKey, a retired educator, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 16, 2018 at the age of 75. She was a native of Donaldsonville, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Theodora graduated from Walter L. Cohen and attended Grambling State University. Devoted wife of Peter R. McKey, Jr.

Devoted mother of Petrice M. McKey-(Eddie, Sr.) Reese, Kim (Keith) Bradley, Valerie (Cardell) Robinson, and the late Jonnette Mckey. Daughter of the late Stanley Royal and Majorie Mitchell McCray. Granddaughter of the late Charlie Mitchell and Dora Stewart. Sister of Darryl (Elizetta) McCray, Keith McCray, and the late Valrie Shivers-Branch. Godmother of Venita (Jarvis) Jackson, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00p.m.

Visitation will begin at 12:30p.m. until service time at the parlor.

Interment: Westlawn Cemetery-Gretna, LA.
