Gerard Iran Cage

Gerard “Baby Gee” Iran Cage departed this life on Friday, February 9, 2018 in Lancaster, TX at the age of 18. He was a native of Avondale, LA and a resident of Lancaster, TX .  Baby Gee, as he was affectionately known by family and friends was an aspiring musician.  Loving son of Monica Addison and Iran Gerard Cage, Sr.  Brother of Brittany Cage, Kennedy Smith, Madicyn Ogundipe, Ke’Iran Lewis, Leroy Jackson, Iran Cage, Jr., De’Shon Jackson, Iran Cage III, and Jamiran Brumfield.  Grandson of Leo, Sr. and Crystal Addison, Beulah Addison, Merlene Grant, and the late Charlie Cage.  Great grandson of Ruth Mae Scott and the late James and Octavia Addison, George Herbert, Carrie Cole and Louise Grant.  Nephew of Leo Jr., Larry, Bobby, and Bryant Addison, Quincy Cage (Yvonne), Shalonda Mason, Jade Lebeauf, Kizzie Cage, and the late Leon Addison. Gerard is also survived by 7 great uncles, 6 great aunts, 2 great great aunts, and a host of other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Pilgrim Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Pilgrim Baptist Church, 2114 Rev. Richard Wilson Dr. Kenner, LA on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Mitchell J. Steven, Sr., officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
