Ernest Johnson, Jr.

Ernest Johnson, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Carpenter House of St. Joseph at the age of 56. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Ernest served his country in the United States Army. Companion of Doris Young. Devoted father of Ryan (Shameka), Taylor, Corbyn and Malik Johnson, Malarah Curtis, and the late Ernest Johnson, III. Son of Catherine Wilson (George) Martin and Ernest, Sr.  (Velma) Johnson. Grandson of the late Louis and Carrie Chatman. Brother of Leonard Pierce, Darrelyn (Robert) Bright, David Bourgeois, Sr. and Cathy Johnson. Godfather of  Tarrelyn and Tory Mitchell, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:00a.m.
