Gregory Johnson, Sr.

Gregory Johnson, Sr., age 55, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at University Medical Center.  He was a native of Kenner, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.  Gregory was a graduate of Alfred Bonnabel High School and Delgado Community College.  He was employed as a Sports Agent.   Beloved husband of Tasha Porche-Johnson.  Loving father of Gregory Johnson, Jr., Courtney Johnson, Tremaine Johnson and Brittani Porche Johnson.  Son of the late Albert Johnson, Sr. and Susie Thomas Johnson.  Grandson of the late Willie and Ellen Thomas.  Brother of Fred Johnson, Kenneth Johnson, Nina Johnson, and the late Albert Johnson, Jr.; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members, of Franklin Ave Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at Franklin Ave Baptist Church, 2515 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, LA on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Fred Luter, Jr. senior pastor; Pastor Sam Young, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
