George Keith, Jr.

George Keith, Jr. departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Monday, February 19, 2018 at the age of 67.  He was a native New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.  George was employed as a cook at Mother Restaurant.  Beloved husband of Cynthia LaFrance Keith.  Loving father of Kimani and Olajwon Keith.  Son of Elvera Davis and the late George Keith, Sr. Stepson of the late Eddie Davis.  Grandson of the late Neil and Louisa Barnes.  Brother of Alfred Keith, Edward Davis, Connie Jackson, Mintie Samuels, Angela Ledet, Kamela Tobias, and the late Marvin Davis; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Paul Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Mother Restaurant; members of Westside Old Timers Baseball Club are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORUARY SERVICE, 230 MONROE ST.
