Carol Diggs Nevis

Carol Jean Nevis, age 67, answered God’s call on Saturday, February 17, 2018.  She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Westwego, LA.  Beloved daughter of the late Nathaniel and Victoria Diggs. Granddaughter of the late Francis Ross Butler and Mack Jones, Sr. Sister of the late Evelyn M. Thomas.  Aunt of Roosevelt (MaryAnn) Williams, Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK.  Great aunt of Christina, Marleen, and Shirley Ann Williams, Katisha DeGrate, Cassandra Pittmon, and Roosevelt William III; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00a.m.  Rev. Sterling Jones, Jr., officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the parlor.  Interment: Mt.
