Helen Smith Myer

Helen Smith Myer, age 80, entered into eternal life on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. She was a native of Anchor, LA, a former resident Boothville, LA and a resident of Algiers, LA for 48 years.  Helen was a retired employee of the Orleans Parish Criminal Court System.  Beloved wife of 31 years to the late Wilson “Man” Myer, Jr.   Loving mother of Terrilyn Renee Myer.  Daughter of the late Felix and Maggie Hutcherson Smith.  Sister of Joycelyn S. Encalade and the late Anthony Smith, Sr. and Patricia S. Mack.  Aunt of Louise Catalon, Cenia Richard, and Nathan Catalon.  Sister-in-law of Debra G. Smith.  Helen is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews, 5 goddaughters, 1 godson, her beloved dog Truffles, and a host of other relatives and friends.
