Gerryl Cage Riggins

Gerryl A. Cage Riggins entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 7, 2017 at her residence at the age of 73. She was a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Gerryl retired from Bellsouth after 33 years and she was also a Teachers Aide for Jefferson Parish School System. Wife of Hilton Riggins, Jr. Mother of Kirkland Ellison, Marvel (Luther) Ellison, Clyde “Chico” (Leo) Tate, Jr. Daughter of the late Stewart B. Cage, Sr. and Eleanor Jackson Cage. Sister of Stewart B. (Diane) Cage, Jr., Edgar C. (Jackie) Cage, Larry (Carla) Cage, Leola Williams, Joyce Cage and the late Eleanor Dangerfield, Melvin Cage, and Wanda Taylor, also survived by 2 grandchildren, and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioners of Christ the King Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Catholic Church 535 Deerfield Rd. Terrytown, LA on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11:30a.m.
