Sarah Louise Jenkins

Sarah Louise Jenkins, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Sagepoint Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in La Plata, Maryland. She was a Medical Lab Clerk at the West Jefferson Medical Center until she retired in 1996 where she was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She was trained in Interior Design and Decorating and enjoyed decorating her home and providing information on home interior design.

Devoted mother of Sheila Jenkins and Karen Bradley (Victor) Chopin. Grandmother of Ashley Renee Bradley . Daughter of the late Percy William Jenkins, Sr. and Canary Stripling Jenkins. Sister of Evelyn Jenkins, Eddie Lee Jenkins, Canary (Charlie) Gilbert , Pearl Conner, Jerry Dean (Joseph) Williams,   Alma Joyce (Late Benjamin) Frazier, Vera Mae (Late Thomas) Cotton, Percy W. Jenkins, Jr., Rev Miles D. (Antonia) Jenkins, Sr., Henry James Jenkins, Larry D. Jenkins, and Rev. Donald R. Jenkins. Godmother of Veronica Ford and Trenika Holmes. Aunt of the late Hazel L. Walker, Melvin D. Jenkins, and Calvin D. Jenkins. Close friend of Margret Taylor, Doris Brown, Bessie Hamilton, Ethel Duckett, and Lera Brown, also survived by a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Age: 82 years a native of St. Joseph, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, LA on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10:00a.m.
