Viola Jones Washington

Viola Jones Washington, entered her new home in glory on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the age of 91. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA.   Wife of the late Freddie Washington, Jr. Loving mother of Ralph Washington. Grandmother of Ralshella Washington (Miguel) Riveiro, Britianella Washington, Brandi Noel, Courtney Washington and she also grand-mothered Adoria Darby and Jessica Edmond. Sister in law to Yvonne W. Washington (Herbert) and Idella W. Washington, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, St. Joseph Baptist Church, St. Mark Baptist Church; and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at, Second Zion Baptist Church, 6520 Second Zion Avenue, Marrero, LA, Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Bright Star Cemetery, Marrero, LA.
