Lillian Carey Morris

Lillian Carey Morris entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at her residence at the age of 89. She was a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Bridge City, LA.

Devoted mother of Thomas (Joyce) Jordan, Russell (Coretta) Lee, Geri (Manuel) Jackson, Shirley Carey, and Aaron Morris. Daughter of the late Wyatt and Alice Carey. Granddaughter of the late Rev. Ben and Liddy Bradshaw. Sister of William (Karen) Carey and Mary (Otis) Martin, also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Salvation Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Salvation Baptist Church, 212 Marrero St., Bridge City, LA, on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Rev. Charles Crawford, Sr. officiating

Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
