Byron “Big B” Joseph Henry entered into rest on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank at the age of 49. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Harvey, LA. Byron was a welder for Turn Fleeting and Shipping Company

Beloved husband of Mary Louise Henry. Devoted father of Byron Booker, Aaron (Ebony) Booker, Jade Booker, Andrew Henry and Rashaud Orange. Son of Barbara Williams Henry and the late Alvin Henry, Sr. Grandson of the late Edna Williams Johnson, Willie Williams, Andrew and Bessie Henry. Brother of Alvin (Yvette) Henry, Devin (Michele) Oten, Quan Oten, and Cherylnn Henry, also survived by 8 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church 2836 Sullen Place New Orleans , LA on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Viewing will begin at 8:30a.m. until 9:45a.m. only at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
