Claud David Trufant, Sr. entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at the age of 63. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.
Loving and devoted husband of Ramona J. Trufant. Beloved father of Claud D. (La’Bria) Trufant, Jr., Renard Trufant, Harrel L. Jones, Jr., Kendall (Katrina) Armand, and Quintrell (Shantae) Woods. Grandfather of Brial, Bry’ana, Jordon, Xavia, Daniyah, Zy’ier, Dawayne, Tatyana, Jusiah, Aniah, India, and Kairo. Son of the late Alfred A. Trufant and Marie W. Pierre- Trufant. Brother of Kenneth Trufant, Sylvester (Tessie) Trufant, Leroy Trufant, Sterlin Trufant, Craig Trufant, Natalie Trufant Baldwin, and the late Alfred Trufant, Jr. Son in law of Verona S. Tillman. Godfather of Kirstyn Cooper, also survived by 11 brothers in law, 11 sisters in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, Greater St. John Baptist Church, City Love, Interdenominational Faith Assembly, Kingdom United Church, Joseph Missionary Baptist, Second Highway Baptist Church, Evening Star Missionary Baptist ,and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, LA on Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr., officiating Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m.-9:50a.m. ONLY at the above named church.
