Sullivan Francis, Jr.

Sullivan “Big Bro” Francis, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 16, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family at the age of 69. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.

Devoted husband of Sharon Muse. Beloved father of Angel Francis, Brian, Byron, and Olivia Russel, and he also raised his grandchildren, Sharon (Missy) Muse, Byron and Myron Green. Son of the late Sullivan Francis, Sr. and Oscar Mae Phillips Francis. Brother of Jackie (Floyd) Boyard and the late Juanita. Nephew of Melvena Adams, Iona Pinkey, Benjamin (Sandra) and Lenard (Linda) Phillips and Arthur Batiste. Uncle of Sean (Stacey). Son in law of William (Velma) Muse and the late Olivia Muse, also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 sister in law, 5 brothers in law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Pleasant Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Pleasant Zion Baptist Church, 3317 Toledano St. New Orleans, LA, on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

Pastor Kenneth E. Thompson, officiating

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
