Galen Kevin Blake

Galen Kevin Blake departed this life at his residence on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 42.

He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Galen was employed with United Site Service as a truck driver.

Beloved husband of Lauri Bedell Blake. Devoted father of Jared K. Blake, Javin M. Blake, and Ja’La K. Blake. Son of Gaynell Blake Patterson and the late David Jackson. Stepson of the late Gerald Patterson. Grandson of the late Douglas and Gloria Dean Blake. Brother of David Blake, Sr., Quasaundra Ellow, and Zelquawana Wilson, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Good Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; members of Dirty South Rides and Angola Combine Kennels are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Good Hope Baptist Church, 800 Elmira Ave. New Orleans, LA , on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
