Rosadell Lagarde

Rosadell “Big Ma” Lagarde, age 91, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2018 at Marrero Healthcare Center.  She was a native of Montegut, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.   Daughter of the late Lucille Deville and Eli “Burner” Lagarde.  Stepdaughter of Southern Barabin.  Granddaughter of the late Anna Eugene Deville, Charlotte Marilyn and Julius Lagarde.  Sister of Helen Johnson, Donald Barabin, of Marrero, LA, Sherman (Charlotte) Barabin, Charles (Alzina) Barabin, of Houma, LA, and the late Albert (Clara) Barabin, David “Wankey” Barabin, Eli Lagarde, Jr., Robert McQuire, Sr., and Shirley Lagarde; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Boynton United Methodist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Boynton United Methodist Church, 515 5th St. Gretna, LA on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
