Leola Odoms

Leola Odoms departed this life at West Jefferson Medical Center on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the age of 71. She was a native of Waterproof, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.  Leola was a graduate of Lincoln High School and a retired employee of Maison Deville.  Devoted mother of Chiquita (Charles) Green and Rhonda (Brett) Jenkins of Baton Rouge, LA.  Devoted grandmother of Jarianna, Zaria, and Torian Green, and Jeremiah Jenkins. Daughter of the late Johnny and Lucinda Odoms.  Sister of Ola Brown, Bobbie (Gregory) Washington, and the late Beulah Day, Phillip and Isaac Odoms, Sr.  Devoted cousin of Estelle Jones.  Leola is also survived by the father of her children George Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of True Vine Baptist Church, New Zion Baptist Church, One Way Deliverance of Baton Rouge, LA and all neighboring churches; employees of Zatarains, Maison Deville, and Best Western Bayou End are invited to attend the Funeral Service at True Vine Baptist Church, 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Leander Johnson, officiating   Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m.-10:00a.m. ONLY at the above named church.   Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA  Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St Gretna, LA  To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com
