Manuel W. Gary

Manuel “Dickey” W. Gary was called to eternal rest at University Medical Center on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the age of 68. He was a native and resident of Algiers, LA.  Devoted father of Chandra Byes Henry. Loving grandfather of Cydreanna Henry and Simlah Henry III.  Great grandfather of Ja’Cy Rose.  Son of the late Oscar Gary, Sr. and Florence Gary.  Grandson of the late Isiah and Louisa Wilson, Oscar Morris and Beulah Gary.   Brother of Michael Gary, Mercedes Noil, Beulah Gary, Jeanne M. Williams and the late Oscar, Jr. Charles, Joseph and Harold Gary; also survived by 2 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Second Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE 230 MONROE ST. GRETNA, LA on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00p.m. Pastor Walter Byes, officiating  Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon until service time at the above named parlor.
