Wife of the late David Sholes Sr., Monroe Stewart by first marriage and Earl Jones by second marriage.

Devoted mother of Ellen (Tony) Smith, Pastor Isaac (Shelia) Stewart ,and the late Al Stewart and Iszetta (David) Lee. Grandmother of Michele Stewart, Ryan (Pauline ) Stewart, Michael (Lisa) Lee, Blair (Sintrell) Lee, Jayda Olivier, Benoit ( Kuenita) Olivier, Iris Stewart, Jonathan (Candance) Stewart, and the late Al, Jr., and Antoine Stewart, and David Lee, III.   Daughter of the late Antoine, Sr. and Ella Johnson . Sister of the late Antoine, Jr., Thomas and Rozelia Johnson. Rose McKnight devoted cousin of Rozelia Williams and Carol Hankton. Godmother of Henry Jackson. Lifelong friend of Virginia Jackson. Also survived by 7 stepchildren, 5 Adopted grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and a host of devoted neighbors, other relatives and friends.

Age: 96 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family also Priest and Parishioners of Holy Guardian of Angels Catholic Church, pastors, officers and members of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Caffin Avenue International Seventh-day Adventist, Household of Family Worship Church, New Home Ministries and all neighboring churches; Employees of State Farm Insurance Company (Lapalco), United States Postal Service, MDL Enterprises and Guardian Angel Hospice are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Guardian of Angels Catholic Church 1701 Bridge City Ave. Bridge City, LA. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until 10:45a.m.; Recitation of the Rosary from 10:45a.m. at the above named church.

Internment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
