Hezchair Evans

Hezchair Evans passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the age of 80. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Hezchair was an avid Saints and Pelicans fan. He was an outdoors man who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Myrtle Evans. Devoted father of Quency, Brian Arnold, Connie Odom, and Chantel Simon. Son of the late Henry Evans and Lillie Casimere Evans. Preceded in death by 5 sisters, 1 brother, and survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandson and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches; employees of Point Landing Co., Wisconsin Barge Line, Lee’s Welding Service, and Cutcher Canning Co of Westwego, LA are invited to attend the Funeral Services at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church 1013 Robinson Ave. Marrero, LA on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Frank Williams officiating

Viewing will begin at 9:00a.m. until 10:00a.m. ONLY at the above named church.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, LA.
