Isadore Cobb

Isadore Cobb, a retired electrician, of A& H Armature Works, departed this life’s journey on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice, River Ridge, LA at the age of 77. He was   a native of St. Francisville, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved husband of 56 years to Claudia B. Cobb. Beloved father of Carla Williams (Albert Watts), Geisielle Turner (Jerome) and Dorlita Bullock. Grandfather of Jaron Foy (Chrisie Briggs), and Brionne S. Bell (Glenn Bell, Jr.), Great grandfather of Chris Jackson, Jr., Ramya Moran, Glenn Bell III, and Delaney Foy. Son of the late Clarence Cobb and Mattie P. Jones. Brother of Lucille Prevost and the late Elbert Cobb, Sr. Uncle of the late Adrian “Willie” Cobb and Murphy Prevost, Jr. Special nephew of the late Lizzie Payton. Son in law of Annie B. Bell and the late James Bell. Brother in law of Gail Cobb, Rhonda Oliver (John Shepherd, Sr.), Janice Cotton (John Cotton Sr.) and the late Murphy Prevost, Sr. Godfather of Elbert Cobb, Jr. and Rhea Ramsey. Loving cousin of Mary Alice Patrick and the late Robert Cobb, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, neighbors and friends.

Relatives, friends, also pastors, officers, and members of Dominion and Power Ministries, Israel Baptist Church of Harvey, LA, Second Zion Baptist Church of Marrero, LA, New Irondale B. C. of St. Francisville, LA and neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish School Board and Touro Infirmary are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Dominion and Power Ministries, 1525 Lapalco Blvd, Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 am.
