Randy James Ozenne

Randy Ozenne, age 64, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his residence.  He was a native of Lafayette, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.  Randy was employed as a Supervisor for over 12 years with Dean Equipment of Harvey, LA.  He was an avid Saints fan, who enjoyed spending time with his family.  Beloved husband of 27 years to Christina Schexnayder Ozenne.   Loving father of Tira Ozenne , Cheronda F. Arceneaux  both of Lafayette, LA and Ranyel  (Kenneth) Trent of Sulphur, LA.  Stepfather of Keith (Jessica) Schexnayder and William Gagnard of Lafayette, LA.   Grandfather of Whitli, Huntar, Khale , Hannah, Dakota, Nevaeh, Kristian, Brennan, Allie, Allen, and Jamerson.  Great grandfather of Raiden, Mila, Wenzel, and Quardell.  Son of the late Andrew, Sr. and Yola Williams Ozenne.  Brother of Harry Ozenne of Pasadena, CA, Charles (Stephanie) Ozenne of Carencro, LA, Anna Babineaux of Scott, LA, Eula Ozenne of Broussard, LA, Lesia (Horatio) Handy of Youngsville, LA, and the late Pearlie Mae Francois, Andrew Roy, Andrew June, and Wilson Ozenne.  Brother-in-law of Hilda Schexnayder Branch, Albert, Ernest, Sr., Calvin, Sr., Joseph, Sr. and Patricia Schexnayder.  Randy is also survived by his godchildren Danielle Dural, Denita Smothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers. Relatives and friends of the family, and employees of Dean Equipment are invited attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Monday, May 21, 2018 at 10:00a.m.
