Lucille Alice Raymond

Lucille Alice Raymond entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 14, 2018 at her residence at the age of 86. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Beloved wife of the late Willie Joseph Raymond. Devoted mother  Janice Bienaime, Carolyn (the late Rudolph) Farrow, Lynette (Edward, Sr.) King,  Rod (Daphne) Raymond,  Zina (Terrence Rose) Raymond,  Angela Robinson, and the late  Rev. Willie J. Moore, Sr. and Darryl Raymond.  Daughter of the late George and Irma Youngblood.  Sister of Henry (Albertine) Youngblood.  Mother-in-law of Nedra Washington Moore Francis; also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives, and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of True Vine Baptist Church, Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, St. Stephen Baptist Church, Austerlitz Street Baptist Church   and all neighboring churches; employees of Poydras  Home, Wynhoven Nursing Home, and ESS Oil Company are invited to attend the Funeral Service at True Vine Baptist Church 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00a.m.   Pastor Leander Johnson officiating  Viewing will be held from 9:00a.m. until service time ONLY at the above named church.
