Walter Percy Scott

Walter Percy “Walggie” Scott, age 21, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at University Medical Center of New Orleans. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA.  Walter was a graduate of Edna Karr High School and continued his studies at Southern University of Baton Rouge majoring in engineering. Loving son of Tiffany Scott and Joseph Nickserson.  Brother of Whyatt Jamison, Joseph Peters and Jacquel Purdy. Grandson of Bonnie Scott, Dorothy Nickerson, Charles and Stella Lee. Great grandson of Walter and Mary Wilson; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Fischer Community Church and all neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson Medical Center, Abbott, and Touro Infirmary; faculty, staff, and students of Edna Karr High School and Southern University of Baton Rouge are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Fischer Community Church, 1737 L. B.
