Damyia Andre’ McInnis, Jr. gained his wings at the gates of heaven on Monday, May 28, 2010 at the age of 10 months surrounded by his loving family and friends.  He was a native and resident of Gretna, LA.  Loving son of Jasmine Tais Collins and Damyia Andre’ McInnis, Sr.  Little brother of Janiya and Jacey McInnis.  Grandson of Cynthia Collins, Gwendolyn Williams, Donald (Thelma) Williams, and Arthur Steadman.  Godson of Denise and Calvin Collins; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relative and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church #1 of Algiers and all neighboring churches; employees of Ochsner Main Campus and Ochsner  Medical Center Westbank are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Mt. Olive Baptist Church #1 of Algiers, 1124 Leboeuf St., New Orleans, LA on Monday, June 4, 3018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Nathaniel Jimcoily, officiating  Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
