David Knight, Jr.

David “Big 9“ Knight, Jr. departed this life at on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the age of 64. He was a native of Avondale, LA , and a resident of Seattle, WA for 19 years. David was employed with Crothall Healthcare as an Environmental Service Technician.

Devoted father of Crystal Perkins of Belle Chasse, LA, David Knight, III (Corinna) of Seattle, WA, Denee Ford of Federal Way, WA, and Delaend Ford (Angel) of Puyallup, WA. Grandfather of Julian, Daysha, Meyoni, Delaend, Jr., Daykia, Christopher, Faith, Ayden, and Daykota. Son of the late David Knight, Sr. and Violet Knight. Grandson of the late Benny and Celestine Harris. Brother of Kevin Knight, Suzette Knight, Valerie Knight, and Annette Knight. Best friend of Denise Poree, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11:00a.m.
