Gloria “Bobby” “Barbara” Geraldine Nelson Keller, age 81, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2018, at 3:21 am. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. She worked at Schnell Restaurant and Frazier’s Connection. Beloved wife of the late Eliot Keller. Devoted mother of Alius Keller, Sr., Stanford Keller, Sr., Margaret Keller, Karen Cotton (Darryl), and Vernell Keller. Grandmother of Stanford Keller, Jr., Alius Keller, Jr., Raven Keller, Kinzie Faulk, III, Lance Smallwood, Alden Simon, and Kai Cotton. Daughter of the late Ethel and Gus Nelson. Sister of Harold Nelson (Betty), Eloise Duckett, Deanna Simon (Roy), and the late Herman Nelson, Yvonne Bottley, and Marion Nelson. Best friend / cousin of Delores Sparks, also survived by 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Zion Baptist Church, Fulfilling the Gospel Min. Int’l, Bethany Church, Fifth African Baptist Church, Morning Star Baptist Church, priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker, and all neighboring churches; employees of West Jefferson Medical Center, Frazier’s Connection, Schnell Restaurant, New Orleans Job Corp Center, Tulane Hospital, Jefferson Parish Schools, and Louisiana State Board Cosmetology B.R. are invited to attend the funeral service at New Zion Baptist Church 1131 Garden Rd. Marrero LA on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
