Ruby Coler Smith

Ruby Elaine Coler Smith entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Carrington Place at the age of 62. She was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA.  Ruby was employed at Our Lady of Wisdom as a certified nursing assistant.  Devoted mother of Herchell Marie Hill, Chanda Danielle Hill, Joy  Lynn Coler, and the late Kenneth Hill. Daughter of the late Clarence  Coler, Sr.  and  Elma Harris Coler. Sister of Lydia Johnson, Sharon Dixon, Shirlean McGinnis, Christina Coler, and the late Clarence Coler, Jr., and Geraldine Coler Hill, also survived by 8 grandchildren,  1 great grandchild, 2 future great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Isreal Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a visitation at Isreal Baptist Church, 1612 Esther St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 9:00a.m. until 11:00a.m.  Rev.
