Willie M. Walker, Sr.

Willie M. Walker, Sr., a retired supervisor of the Department of Veterans Affairs, departed this life at the age of 77.  He was a native of White Castle, LA and a resident of Reserve, LA.  Willie served his country as a member of the United Stated Marine Corps.  Loving father of Joy (Calvin) Slocum, Julie (William) Tumblin, Willie, Jr., Joseph (Lytaria), Danielle and Kevin Walker.  Son of the late Christopher Columbus Walker and Mary Tate Walker.  Brother of Edd (Leontine) Walker and the late Rosie Lee Walker, Mary Lee Edwards, Verla Epkin, James and Alex Walker.  Brother-in law of Gloria Walker and the late Norman Epkin, Sr.; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at St. John Baptist Church, 31925 Lacroix Rd.
