Albert Craige, Sr.

Albert Craige, Sr., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at his residence at the age of 77. He was a native of Hinds County, MS and a resident of Avondale, LA. Albert was a retired truck driver. Husband of the late Joyce Craig. Father of Ennis (Lionel) Jones, Tracy Craig, Tammy Craig, Albert (Claudia) Craige, Jr., Shannon (Ronnie) Newton, Albert Lewis and the children that he reared Brandon Craig and Rayona Craig Williams. Son of the late Emmett, Sr. and Rosie Hardge Craig. Grandfather of the late Albert Bullock. Brother of Evora Savage and the late Mozel, Emmett, Jr., Robert, and George Craig, and Rose Morris. Brother in law of Henrietta Craig and Joseph Morris, Jr., also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
