Gregory Washington

Gregory Washington departed this life on Friday, June 8, 2018 at West Jefferson Medical Center at the age of 60.  He was a native of Gibson, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA.  Beloved husband of 25 years to Bobbie Washington.  Loving father of Tina, Demeka, and Latrena Taylor of Michigan, Leatrice (Edward) Reynolds, Shatara (Warren) Edmond, and Kenneth Odom.  Son of the late Oliver and Elvira Washington.  Brother of the late Oliver, Jr., Gloria Lee, Elvena Washington, and Yvonne Saulsberry. Brother-in-law of Ola Brown and the late Leola Odom.  Gregory is also survived by his favorite niece Belinda Washington, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relative and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of True Vine Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Maison Deville and BW Inn are invited to attend the Funeral Service at True Vine Baptist Church, 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Leander Johnson, officiating  Viewing will be held from 8:30a.m.-10:00a.m. ONLY at the church.  Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA  Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, LA  To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com.
