Simpson Wright, Jr.

Simpson Wright, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the age of 61. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Avondale, LA. Junior as he was known to most of his family and friends was a former employee of Restlawn Cemetery. Beloved son of Marion Wright and the late Simpson Wright, Sr. Brother of Betty Wright, Marilyn (Earl) Shelton, Melvina (Martin) Jones, Dianne Arceneaux, Christine (Lionel) Bibbins, Vanessa Oats, Melanise (Antoine) McPherson, Stephaine (Herb) Herman, Jerome (Alma) Jackson, Gerald Wright, Bervin (Charlene) Wright, and the late Wendell Joseph Wright, Derald Wright, and Adrienna Wright, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of True Vine Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Donald Clayton Jeanjacques, Sr. officiating.

Visitation will begin 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.

Interment: Providence Park Cemetery-Metairie, LA.
