Penny Brown Carter

Penny Brown Carter entered into eternal at JoEllen Smith Convalescent Center on Friday, June 15, 2018 at the age of 53. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Companion of Freddie W. Ellison. Loving mother of Azaa A. Carter. Beloved daughter of Terry and Josephine Brown. Granddaughter of the late William and Beola Brown, Eli and Josephine Jones. Sister of Tarry (Qiana) Brown, Derrick (Keidra) Brown, Lisa (Robert) Jackson, Lastacia (Ronald) Jones, and Likisha (Jared) Ratcliff, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friend of the family also pastors, officers, and members St. Stephen Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited of attend the funeral service at St. Stephen Baptist Church 1738 L.B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
