Arthur Wilson, Jr.

Arthur L. Wilson, Jr. entered into eternal rest at West Jefferson Medical Center on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the age of 77. He was a native of Gonzales, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Arthur retired from Hill Behan Lumber as a supervisor.

Husband of 39 years to the late Shirley Wilson. Son of the late Arthur, Sr. and Elma Wilson. Brother of Alvron (Elva) Wilson, Peter (Adeline) Wilson, Audrey Wysingle, Barbara Tuckson, Mary Washington, and the late Sally Wilson, and Donald Ray Wilson. Brother in law of Gloria White and the late L.J. Wysingle and Landis Tuckson, Sr. , also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friend of the family also pastors, officers, and members Thomas United Methodist Church, St. Landry United Methodist Church, Gethsemane COGIC, and all neighboring churches; members of Bridge City Senior Center and United Methodist Men are invited of attend the funeral service at Thomas United Methodist Church 420 Webster St. Kenner,  LA on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 11:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
