Jerry Lee Washington Coleman

Jerry Lee Washington Colman entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 25, 2018 at Passages Hospice at the age of 71.  She was a native of Brookhaven, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA.  She was a graduate of George Washington Carver High School.  Devoted mother of Cicely W. (Corey) Lewis, Ronnie and Nadia Washington, and April S. Coleman.  Loving grandmother of Travis, Ty’Ron, Taraji, Keymora, Corey, Ja’Nadius, Je’Naia, and Jadia Washington.  Daughter of the late Mack and Rev. Lula Mae Lee.  Sister of Carolyn L. Armant, MayShell Parker, Zachary Lee and the late Willie Lee; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Beacon Light International Cathedral, Universal Church, and all neighboring churches; employees of Ochsner Hospital (Main Campus) and Hilton Riverside are invited to attend the Homeging Celebration at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
