Carol Richard Morgan

Carol Ann Richard Morgan passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 14, 2018. Carol was an educator in the Orleans Parish School System for 29 1/2 years.  She taught at O. Perry Walker and Francis T. Nicholls (Frederick Douglass) within the subjects of typing, accounting, general business, and keyboarding. Wife of the late Jasper L. Morgan and the two are now united with the Lord. Loving mother of Jarvis J. (Miranda) Morgan and Dr. Jarelle M. (Marcus) Scott. Grandmother of Aria Morgan, Melody Morgan, Jackson Scott, Jarvis Morgan II, Chandler Scott and Ava Scott. Daughter of the late Dutley Lee Richard and Eva Ellis Richard. Sister of Dutley Lee Richard Jr., Linda R. (Casey) Jumpiere, Peggy R. (Wadleigh) Johnson, Kathey R. (Espy) Pace and LaQuerita Richard, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters in law, brothers in law, other relatives and friends.

Age: 74 years a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA.

Relatives, friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Progressive Church of Marrero, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, LA on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Interment: Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery-Westwego, LA.
