Howard Price, Sr.

Howard Price, Sr. departed this life on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at the age of 78.  He was a native and resident of Algiers, LA.  Loving father of Rogers, Howard, Jr. (Sabrina), and Ryan (Andrea) Price.  Son of the late Lawrence Price, Sr. and Helen Benn Price.  Brother of Lawrence Price, Jr., Altar (Irvin) Butler, Joyce Price, Catherine Phoenix, Leona (Gene) Roy, and the late Milton F. Price and Bernadine P. Ross.  Nephew of Percy Rose.   Howard is also survived by his devoted cousin George Sullen, whom he loved as a brother, 5 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church, Second Nazarine Baptist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church, 2836 Sullen Place Algiers, LA on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Andre Sigler, officiating  Viewing will be held from 8:00a.m-9:50a.m. ONLY at the above named church.  Interment: Nazarine Cemetery-Algiers, LA  Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St.  Gretna, LA  To view and sign the guestbook, please go to www.davismortuaryservice.com.
