Paul Ray Porter, Sr.

Paul Ray Porter, Sr. entered into eternal rest and was ushered into the presence of the Lord at his residence on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the age of 66. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Kenner, LA.

Husband of Lisha Porter. Father of Paul R. Porter, Jr., Nathaniel Porter (Valencia Bailey), and the late Trellas Porter. Grandfather of Travon Porter, Kayla Raines, Khalil Raines, Kaitlyn Porter, and Naveyah Porter. Son of the late Issac Porter, Sr. and Mary Spencer. Brother of Frances Swain, Katherine Thompson, Bernice Porter, Doris Porter, Brenda (Ronald) Carter, Paula Dillard (Sidney) Curtis, Lynell Dillard, Joel (Betty) Porter, and the late Melva West, Susan Porter-Burns, and Issac Porter, Jr. Son in law of Dorothy Eugene. Theresa West his niece whom he loved like a sister, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friend of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Michael Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited of attend the funeral service at St. Michael Baptist Church 315 James St. Kenner, LA on Saturday , July 21, 2018 at 10:00a.m.

Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.

Interment: Providence Park Cemetery-Metairie, LA.
