Annie Hunter Williams

Annie Hunter Williams entered into eternal life at her residence on Friday, July 27, 2018 at the age of 88.

She was a native of Woodville, MS and a resident of Westwego, LA. Beloved wife of the late James Williams of 47 years. Devoted mother of Lawrence T. (Paulette) Ross, Willie (JoAnn) Brumfield, Jr., Melvin F. (Linda) Brumfield, Joseph (Alice) Brumfield, Sr., Joyce A. Brumfield, and the late Evelyn L. Ross, and Charlie Ross, Jr. Stepmother of Alvin (Wendy) Stampley. Grandmother of the late Lawrence Thomas Ross, Jr. and Kyron Ingram. Daughter of the late Abraham Hunter, Sr. and Lucille Smith Hunter. Sister of Abraham Hunter, Jr., Williams (Nina) Hunter, Stevenson Hunter, Bernice Ross, Charlotte Hunter, Kay Francis Hunt, Gussie (Paul) Vaught, Lela Swain, Martha Denmark, Willie Mae Gaines, Mary Anderson, Yvonne Palmer, and the late Edward, Sr., Elisha, Arthur, Sr., Claiborne, Sims, Calvin and Samuel. Godmother of Latoya Winn, also survived by 28 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers and members of Historic True Vine Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Historic True Vine Baptist Church 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, LA on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery- Westwego LA.
